Next Wednesday, January 24the Vicente del Bosque Football Academy Management will be present along with Mr. Vicente del Bosque to the International Fair Fiturin Madrid, to be presented at the stand of the Balearic Islands, together with the president of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Marga Prohens and the mayor of Calvià, Juan Antonio AmengualThe events that the Academy will celebrate one more year in the municipality of Calvià, Mallorca.

From 2011 to the present, the Vicente del Bosque Football Academy has become a worldwide project for sports training in values, with more than 15,500 athletes of 26 nationalities participating. After five editions of the local tournament “Vicente Del Bosque First Mallorca Cup” that has been held from 2015 to 2019, and the second international edition last April and June 2023 in which 96 teams from 8 countries and nearly 3,000 people between players, coaches, staff, families and fans have participated.

The Management of Vicente del Bosque Football Academy together with Don Vicente del Bosque presented his international events this morning at Fitur: Mallorca International Women’s Tournament , which will be held from March 28 to 31 and Mallorca International Football Cup, Vicente del Bosque, which will take place from June 20 to 25 in the municipality of Calvià, Mallorca.

The event took place at the stand of the Balearic Islands together with the President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Marga Prohens, the President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés and the Mayor of Calvià, Juan Antonio Amengual, among other authorities of the island.

From 2011 to the present, the Vicente del Bosque Football Academy has become a sports training project in values, with more than 15,500 athletes of 26 nationalities participating.

The authorities have highlighted the relevance of strategic events in the field of tourism and sports to boost the development of the island. This support is based on previous data provided by the Academy, which demonstrates the positive impact of these events on the economy and the international projection of the territory. In addition, the prominent presence of Don Vicente del Bosque as a representative image contributes significantly to strengthening the identity and attractiveness of the island in tourism and sports. Its recognized trajectory contributes a component of prestige and excellence, consolidating the island’s position as a preferred destination for events of this nature. The second international edition, held in April and June 2023, was attended by 96 teams from 8 countries, attracting nearly 3,000 people including players, coaches, support staff, families and fans.

Vicente del Bosque highlighted the academy’s firm conviction that sport and its intrinsic values act as fundamental drivers to promote tourism in a responsible and sustainable manner.

The Vicente Del Bosque Campus 2024 will be held in various locations in Spain such as Madrid, Tres Cantos, Mallorca, Estepona, Cadiz, Aragon, Salamanca and new locations to be announced soon.

Today, on the first day of the Fitur Tourism Fair in Madrid, Don Vicente del Bosque presented the international events to be held by the Academy in 2023.
He has done so by holding several meetings with the institutions of the Balearic Islands and the Vicente del Bosque Football Academy Management.
The first edition of the Women’s Football Tournament ‘Women’s Tournament’, will take place from April 5 to 9, during Easter, and will mean a minimum of 1,500 overnight stays during 5 days for the municipality of Calvià. The event will include soccer, futsal and integration soccer for people with intellectual disabilities.
The mayor of Calvià, in the meeting, has pointed out the importance of carrying out sporting events like this one, which involve integration and sporting values, and also represent quality products for the Calvià destination.
Vicente del Bosque has emphasized the participation of young people with intellectual disabilities, and what it means for them in their training.
On the other hand, the II edition of the Mallorca International Football Cup Tournament, Vicente del Bosque will be held from June 23 to 27 in Calvià and Palma, consolidating the event with more teams from different international markets.

This Thursday, Vicente Del Bosque, at an event held at the Santander Work Café, presented the twelfth edition of the summer camps organized by the Vicente Del Bosque Football Academy and, as a novelty, the First Edition of the Mallorca International Cup, which will be held in Mallorca from June 28 to July 2, which takes over from the local tournament Vicente Del Bosque First Mallorca Cup, which was played between 2015 and 2019.

This summer the campuses will take place in Madrid, from June 27 to July 29, in Mallorca from June 27 to August 12, in three venues, in Cádiz from July 11 to August 12, in Estepona (Málaga) from July 18 to 29 and in Calanda (Teruel) from July 11 to 15.

This presentation was attended by the Mayor of Madrid José Luis Martínez-Almeida, other authorities, sponsors and collaborators along with special guests such as Iker Casillas, Fernando Morientes, Enrique Cerezo, Juanfran Torres and José Antonio Camacho.

«The objective is not to make professional players, this is very difficult and you have to be realistic with the boys. The dream is for him to be a good kid and he can achieve that through sport”, explained Vicente Del Bosque, who added “these initiatives are positive things because the educational power of football is so fantastic that we must take advantage of it”.
