International Campus in Denmark

We inaugurated the first Vicente del Bosque International Campus project in Denmark with a press conference and a training clinic. This project is a model of formative soccer campus aimed at children from 8 to 15 years old, which aims at the integral formation of the players.

“The goal of expanding the significance of the Vicente del Bosque Football Academy in Spain is born the international format, with the aim of starting a players ‘campus and a coaches’ clinic – first in Denmark and then anywhere in the world,” says Pau Albertí, technical director of the academy.

The press conference and training clinic in Roskilde, Denmark, took place on March 1. The campus will take place from July 31 to August 4 this year and is the responsibility of the direction of Vicente del Bosque, who provides Pau Albertí as his technical director and Pau Albertí Jr. and other official technicians, the work program and sets the guidelines to follow in these events. The training methodology consists of a series of progressive and interrelated exercises with technical and tactical objectives, which take into account at all times each stage of training, decision making and the level of the players.

“Already in the summer of this year, we provided the Danish players with the basic technical and tactical concepts of Spanish soccer so that they can face, with guaranteed success, the sporting challenges they will face in the future,” concludes Pau Albertí, technical director of the Vicente del Bosque Football Academy.

Presentation of the Vicente del Bosque Campus 2016

The national coach presented this year’s editions of his summer camps, which take place between June and July and will host more than 1,000 children between the ages of 6 and 15.
